As a NASUWT member who teaches in a Norfolk School you are automatically a member of the Norfolk Association and are welcome to attend our meetings.

General Meetings.

The Autumn term General meeting will be a Zoom Meeting. We would like as many members as possible to attend as it is especially important that we hear how things are going in your schools this term and how the Covid-19 arrangements are working. The meeting will be at 7.00pm on Wednesday 14th October. Please e-mail if you wish to attend and we will send you log-in details in the week leading up to the meeting.

These are the termly meetings where you as members give the association the democratic support it needs to help members in Norfolk. As well as this there is always plenty of opportunity for you to raise any issues which you want to and to ask any questions. They are often held in schools at the end of the day because that is the best way for us to secure the large turnout we need. Members from other schools are always welcome and we would encourage you to come if you can.

Summer term Social

This is normally held towards the end of the summer term. All members and their partners are welcome. Last year we visited St Benet’s Abbey and the year before was held on the Southern Comfort Mississippi Paddle Boat. Watch your emails for details of next summer’s event.

All members are welcome to attend and you can become a member of exec either through annual election or co-option throughout the year.
